Why Groups Don't Listen to Introverts (And How to Change That) 3 Philosophers Show Us How the Introvert Mind is Different TV Show Recommendations for Introverts I’m Harrison Paul, an introvert author who writes about introverts. I am the author of five-book introvert epic fantasy series Kaybree versus the Angels. I am also actively seeking publication for the Aurora Lightwalker series of introvert science fiction novels. I hold an MA in Philosophy from San Francisco State University and teach high school philosophy, law, social science, and Mandarin. My wife and I both identify as introverts. To us, this means we process experiences more deeply than normal, we energize by reflecting rather than acting, and we value the world internal to our minds more than the external physical world. Because the temperament of introversion is thought to come from genetics, and based on early observations, we believe our daughter and sons are introverts too, and our future children will likely be introverts as well.
But it's unclear if most of the world understands who introverts are and what an authentic introverted life means. That's one of the reasons I write: to discover for myself what it means to be an introvert and to encourage others to ask these questions as well.
